Veribu's mission is to be the premier and leading developer of the world's first download-free communications platform for real-time web and mobile communication. The Company's vision is to provide the most flexible and affordable online communications offering available with a keen focus on privacy, ease-of-use, and quality.

Veribu was founded in 2009 in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

Veribu is an innovative web-based communication platform that allows its users to engage in video chats, phone calls, and text messages.
Veribu is referred to as a web-based multi-media communications utility platform.
Veribu is the next step towards blurring the lines between traditional methods of communication.

In a simple, easy-to-navigate web-based format, and with no software downloads, IT updates, or expensive hardware required, Veribu gives you the ability to video chat, text message, and place/receive phone calls to any contacts added within your Veribu network in real-time.
Veribu is easy to use with a clean user interface and literally enables you to "Browse, click, talk" to anyone in your network-anytime and anywhere, instantly.
Veribu represents a bridge between traditional forms of communications such as telephony, text, instant messaging, and other electronic mediums that require multiple sources and platforms to navigate. Veribu makes it as easy as possible for you to get in touch with your friends and talk as you would face-to-face.

1. Open a web browser - any web browser. Veribu operates through any browser and OS.
2. Log-in securely to access your network of personal and professional Veribu contacts.
3. Search for other Veribu users, then add them as friends.
4. With one click you can be video chatting, SMS texting, or calling someone on their phone, simultaneously.
5. Communicate! Veribu makes it easier than ever to communicate with your friends in real-time with voice, video, and text!

MANAGEMENT TEAM

Jon Cook, Chief Executive Officer, Co-Founder

Jon Cook co-founded the company in July of 2009 with Jason Humphries, whom he met through a mutual friend. His vision has taken Veribu from its initial concept to its current stage. The original idea for Veribu stemmed off of a brainstorming session he had to help solve the need for rich human interaction online. When Cook isn't working on Veribu, he enjoys being on the water and sailing the coastal waterways that surround Hilton Head Island.

Jason Humphries, Chief Technology Officer, Co-Founder

Jason co-founded Veribu with Jon Cook in Hilton Head Island, SC. Jason's unique, self-taught web development skills started when he was 12, after being inspired by Shawn Fanning, the creator of Napster. When Jason isn't working on Veribu, he is watching the stock market, researching investments, or reading the Wall Street Journal.
